The United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), established in 2011 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, supports U.N. Member States in planning and implementing sustainable development strategies, notably through knowledge sharing, capacity development, research, training and partnership building. In an effort to strengthen capacities of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to advance the implementation of SAMOA Pathway and SDGs in SIDS, a global SIDS Learning Workshop will be organized in Bangkok, Thailand from 18 to 20 March 2020.

The 2nd GHG Inventory System Training Workshop will be hosted by UNOSD and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) from 13 to16 January 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand. The workshop is an updated version of last year's workshop which will gather government officials, experts and professionals in the field to provide necessary skillsets to operate GHG inventories, estimate GHG emissions on a national level, and facilitate general understanding of climate change policies and the 2030 Agenda for the SDGs.

United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) will host a side event at the Tenth World Urban Forum (WUF10) titled, "SDGs in Aciton: Inclusive Local Governance Solutions to Accelrate the SDGs and Leave No One Behind" on Tuesday, 11 February 2020 from 14:00 to 15:00 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
