The United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), established in 2011 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, supports U.N. Member States in planning and implementing sustainable development strategies, notably through knowledge sharing, capacity development, research, training and partnership building. UNOSD is convening a webinar series in preparation for the Incheon International Mayors Forum to build local governments’ knowledge and skills around a series of essential topics to build back better in the COVID-19 response, while also accelerating progress for the 2030 Agenda. The series will compose of 6 webinars, each dealing with different topics and issues. The series will be held starting from 17 September to 29 October 2020 (every Thursday).

UNOSD will organize the final workshop on SDG6-PSS: "Lessons learned from the use of SDG 6 Policy Support System (SDG-PSS) to accelerate progress towards SDG 6" collaboratively with United Nations University - Institute for Water, Environment and Health and the Korea Environment Corporation from 10 to 11 November 2020 at 8-10PM (KST) each day. The workshop will be conducted fully online via Zoom Meetings.

This special webinar, which will take place on Wednesday, 2 December 2020 at 10pm (KST), is part of the 2020 International Mayors Forum, which this year has been exceptionally taking place through a series of virtual meetings examining environmental and socio-economic strategies and measures that are being and/or can be implemented by local governments to accelerate COVID-19 recovery as well as the delivery Sustainable Development Goals by 2030
