Description
The United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) has organized Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summer Camp for college students annually since 2017 to increase the youth’s awareness and role in the SDGs implementation. The previous Summer Camps successfully equipped the participating college students with necessary knowledge and capacity to contribute to the realization of the SDGs. UNOSD is co-organizing "3rd SDGs Youth Summer Camp" to build and enhance youth’s knowledge on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs with United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) and Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco). Moreover, The 3rd SDGs Youth Summer Camp will take place in Incheon, Republic of Korea from July 29 to August 1, 2018. The Incheon Metropolitan City, as a dedicated partner of UNOSD, has carried out good practices and strategies for the SDGs implementation. A planned field trip will provide opportunities for the participants to experience and learn how the city can promote Sustainable Development.
