The overarching objective of the Sustainable Development Transition Forum (SDTF) is to achieve a better understanding of successes, lessons and specific mechanisms for initiating and fostering the profound transformations that are urgently needed to make our societies sustainable, resilient, prosperous, peaceful and inclusive in accordance with the ambitions of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This year’s SDTF is designed to foster an open dialogue on what we have learned in the first four years of implementing the SDGs, both at the country level and at the international level, particularly with regard to the role of the High-Level Political Forum on sustainable development.
