UNOSD will organize the 2024 Executive Training Course for Policymakers on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development from 7 to 10 May 2024 in Incheon, Republic of Korea to gather senior-level national government officials from developing countries who are responsible for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and development of VNRs to enhance the knowledge, skills, mindsets, and overall capacities of member states in implementing sustainable development planning and policymaking through an integrated approach
UNOSD and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) will organize a webinar on Zero Waste on Friday, 29 March 2024 to raise public awareness and mobilize key stakeholders worldwide on the urgency of transitioning towards zero waste through improved waste management systems and policies, and best practices on resource circularity.
UNOSD facilitated a benchmarking mission for 19 nominated public officials from the Republic of Namibia who are part of developing the 6th National Development Plan (NDP). This program took place in person from 2 to 5 April 2024 in Seoul and Sejong, the Republic of Korea. This program aims to enhance Namibia's knowledge and capacity for evidence-based and results-oriented planning, address Namibia’s expressed challenges and priorities, and align its 6th NDP with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Namibia’s vision for 2030 and the regional Agenda 2063.
